When I shopped the 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target launch 4 months ago, I was there for one thing :: BAGS. Which I did get, but after you snag those, what are you supposed to do? Leave? No...it's 8:10am, you're with your girlfriend & NO kids. So...you shop!
I had no intention of buying this top, I had seen it in the previews, it didn't jump out at me, & frankly, I'm not a florals girl. In fact I kind of hate them. But this top did grab me in the store. The fabric feels super luxe, the peplum is incredibly subtle (hence, wearable for years), the floral is very unassuming, & the front zips closed (no buttons), so I tried it on & I kind of loved it. It's a little surprising this is it's first time on the blog since I've worn it a number of times, but here it is, with my CAbi ponte midi-skirt that I was about to sell at my sample sale until I realized it fits me perfectly & it really should just find a home in my closet, not someone else's.
What I'm Wearing //
Sleeveless Top // Phillip Lim x Target Floral Peplum
Ponte Skirt // CAbi (no longer available) (similar or here for $20!)
Ponte Skirt // CAbi (no longer available) (similar or here for $20!)
I don't wear skirts hardly ever, but when I do it's nice to find one that is the ideal length to be posh, sophisticated, & sexy all at once.
