Meet Oscar, Anna, & Cleo

There are a number of levels I've been super excited to achieve during Glitter In The Grey's short life. Everything is so new and each day brings some joy and learning experience. One of the big perks of writing a style blog is working with uber stylish people and hooking up with awesome brands and businesses.
My friend Abby gave me a cyber-introduction to her friend Anna (& her pup Oscar). She designs and manufactures (In NYC!) a super chic line of luxe leather handbags under the label Oscar & Anna. Her bags are all thoughtfully designed for style and function, while being simple, elegant, and free of obnoxious logos (read here how I feel about that) and flashy metals.
Anna was kind enough to send me a bag of my choice to review, I chose the Cleo and am totally in love with it for so many reasons. The color is absolutely perfect and it works day or night with everything. The best part of this bag is the design though.

We all love big bags // we women often need to tote around a LOT of stuff. The Cleo bag has a compact upper compartment that acts like a small bag, to hold your frequently used stuff (phone, keys, lipstick, sunnies, whatever...the fact is, you can literally see all of it and no digging is ever required). The sides zip open to reveal the bottom compartment that holds extra shoes, bottle of wine, diapers & wipes, iPad, makeup bag, your kid's dance clothes, you name it (over the past two weeks, my bag has held each and every one of these things!).

This afternoon I was headed to cozy girls night in, so my bag contained a nice bottle of cab. And flats. These heels are a little out of my comfort zone, but I couldn't have been more excited when I picked them up (@Nordstrom Rack, of course). They're a serious platform, which I don't generally do, but I loved the tribal print, the lug sole, and the bright green underneath. Then I saw the price. I don't know why I've been so lucky shoe shopping at the Rack this year, but lets just say I saved 96%. Yeah.
