I don't read nearly the amount I should (and by 'read' I mean actual books...not fashion mags, gmail, texts, or random shit on the Internets). That being said, READ my 5 Faves this week!

one // "How to be Stylish"
This little anagram from an Australian style maven is cute, relevant, and true.
two // Our Bookclub Selection
It's actually my turn to select a book for bookclub (aka drinking club), and I am loving this book! The Cuckoo's Calling is a modern day mystery written by JK Rowling (though she published it under a pen name but those tricky Brits discovered her little secret). Click on image to buy, it's only $6 on Kindle.
1. Give up caring what other people think of you.
2. Give up trying to please everyone.
3. Give up participating in gossip.
4. Quit worrying.
5. Let go of insecurity.
6. Stop taking everything personally.
7. Give up the past.
8. Give up spending money on what you don't need in effort to buy happiness.
9. Give up anger.
10. Give up control.
four // Elizabeth Smart's Story
I followed Elizabeth Smart's story so closely and was literally brought to tears when I learned of her rescue. She's an inspiration for overcoming adversity. For some reason, I will always remember exactly where I was when I heard that young girl was alive and free (I was a newlywed managing inventory spreadsheets for Lois Hill in my Kirkland home office back in 2003). five // Pay It Forward
This quick post from one of my favorite bloggers talks about how someone noticed her grumpy demeanor & with a simple compliment, changed her outlook for the day. So later did the same for another lady who was looking all sour, and it worked on her too. Try it.

What have you read that's inspired you lately? Let me know...
