Shopping Trip :: Nordstrom (Feelin' Savvy)

During my time working for Nordstrom, I worked for just about every ready to wear women's department, but Savvy wasn't one of them. I was not cool enough, skinny enough, or confident enough. I haven't shopped much in that department over the years...until now!
NORDSTROM - Shop Savvy. Cool Looks, Awesome Prices.
Just this year, Savvy was rebranded with a shift toward more affordable on-trend looks.  Lots of new labels (many previous "Savvy brands" moved on to other Nordstrom women's departments), and best of all, it's an affordable, fun shopping environment! The department is [I gather] supposed to be a stepping stone from teeny-bopper BP to Individualist. {For the record, I don't generally follow those rules about what departments are for what age group. You can find great basic items in junior's departments and who said tailored clothing is only for 30+?}
Here is some of the greatness I encountered in the new Savvy:
These jeans are perfectly shredded, have a fantastic cut, only $88!!
This Trouve jacket is so, so perfect. The drape hangs just right, and the leather is buttery soft. It's basically exactly what I've been searching for, so when I come up with an extra $298 I hope it can me mine!

I'm a little obsessed with these woven track pants from Leith. They're the perfect combo of dressy+casual and can be styled with heels or sneakers.
  • This Trouvé Neon Sheer Stripe Sweater has the casual-chic essence I adore. The sheer panels are a perfect way to show off your shape without showing any. I'd recommend a cami underneath...
  • I need this Trouvé Mesh Knit Cardigan. I love that it's a cross between a sweater & a blazer, but the open knit is a little structured. Perfect for throwing on over a tee or sundress.

{ This is not a sponsored post, I just really love Nordstrom! It may contain affiliate links. }

Just to prove my point about not taking age into consideration when shopping certain places, the model wearing the above poppy jacket is likely 17. My mom just bought it and it looks amazing on her!
